Smoothie King has been my go-to smoothie shop since well, smoothies became a thing. They have 3 on their menu that are gf but at $4+ a pop, I started thinking I should make them at home. I've been trying out all different kinds and I think I've finally landed on a couple of combinations that I like.
I use the same base for pretty much all of them: plain greek yogurt and a banana. From there it's whatever I have on hand, for the most part. I've been doing fresh strawberries because they are SO GOOD right now but today I threw frozen blueberries in instead. Some oj, agave, and a couple of ice cubes and I ended up with blended perfection.
One lesson I learned last week though: be careful about your frozen fruit/ice cube ratio. You could end up with sorbet.
